There is much to do, and we have been long delayed. Accept the holy instant as this year is born, and take your place, so long left unfulfilled, in the Great Awakening. Make this year different by making it all the same. And let all your relationships be made holy for you. This is our will.

I WAS GIVEN THE TITLE for this month's article, "The New Great Awakening - Raising Eden From The Ashes," in a dream which left me awake for a good portion of the night pondering the consequences of the life choices that have led me into this present moment, now that many months have gone by since the split with my male spiritual partner. Although many new opportunities arise daily, I still know not where I am to go, what I am to do or who I am to meet. Yet, in this apparent darkness and insecurity of my world, I still feel I am "on purpose." I am continuing to learn to love me as I am - without looking to this world for another person, place or object to fulfill me any longer.

I began writing this month's article with the knowing that we have entered the Age of Aquarius or what has been called The New Age, a time said to be a period of great destruction and also great love. We have witnessed great change since the new Millennium. We are living in a time where all that we once valued and felt secure with is now crumbling to the ground and ashes are all that remain for many. It is my belief that the Phoenix is about to re-emerge from out of the ashes that once held the very breath of humanity's security - a security that was stolen by a happening that changed the planet as we know it, called "9-11." With this idea in mind, I would ask the reader to consider these questions I offer in this month's article and allow what I share as a possibility and as usual I ask the reader to accept what feels right and let go of what doesn't.

Once again, it is my intent to assist in Healing The Heart of Mankind. I know that, as I allow the two aspects within my own being to merge as one Divine Force of Creative expression, the world we live in will be One - filled with Love, Peace and Joy. Through this Union of Divine Love comes the One complete expression of The God "I AM" and here is where The Heaven we have so long awaited to inhabit becomes our Home.

Behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.

What if 9-11-2001 was the last useless tragedy we ever had to experience to bring Love and brotherhood of man back into this world we call home?

Really. What if the fall of the Twin Towers was the catalyst for the ultimate annihilation of the ego - both individually and collectively - and every action that followed was a movement with the intent to bring Love and forgiveness into the world?

Awake you that sleep, and arise from the dead,
and Christ shall give you light.
- Ephesians 5:14 (AKJV)

This author sees 9-11 as a parallel to the story of The Tower of Babel as told in the Bible. It can be seen as the final judgment against any belief system in man or his society as he continues to press forward in the name of material gain without reference to or respect for God or Universal Love. The parable tells us that the road without personal and Universal Love is doomed to disaster. The citizens of Babel thought that they were able, technologically, to challenge God's leadership. Man's pride, vanity and lust for power was far more important than Love and God's Authority.

As I sit here and remember 9-11 - the moment where time stood still for humanity - I feel and I see the potential of that moment to absolutely awaken mankind from it's slumber. I see the potential to awaken the sleeping beauty in all of us so that Divine Love could once again reign, so that harmony and good fortune could once again be the characteristics of our life experience here on planet earth. My readers can call me "Pollyananda," similar to a term I was called growing up because of my rosy and positive nature, by aspects of my world caught in the program I will call fear. Nevertheless, I do believe that day (9-11) will be forever recorded in the mind of man as the beginning of the transformation of mankind. And, I believe - like the prophecies written and recorded in history - that this earth is in a time of unprecedented change. The world will not be the same as it was before that earth shattering day back in 2001. I believe that we are on the cusp of great destruction and that those of us called "Lightworkers" have had glimpses of what will occur in our sacred moments in meditation and prayer.

As I see it now, there is no turning back for me or for my world. Change is going to happen whether my world (or I) consent to it or not. The extent of the destruction and/or healing changes will continue to be contingent on how we individually and collectively attune to our Divine Love nature, and, therefore, erase the unconscious fear-based behavior prevalent before these times. Karma needs to be transmuted from fear to love and to the degree this is accomplished will determine the fate of our world.

Author's Note: I would like to use a term, Metaphoric Awareness, here in this article - one I shared before in an earlier article in the Quantum Miracles series. The term Metaphoric awareness came to me one day back in 1999, and with it came a perfect teaching concept which I share with you...

Metaphoric Awareness is a way of looking at the world as a means to see what is happening in the mind of the perceiver. In this concept we are seeing our world as a way-shower, showing us in every moment what it is we are feeling and thinking. Once we accept this, we can see the world as our teacher. Nothing goes unnoticed in the mind of Universal Intelligence. So, what we ask for we are given. We are the trigger that brings forth something in the Mind of God that shows us what we ask to see.

Ask, and it shall be given you.

I offer the reader an opportunity to see how I use Metaphoric Awareness in my own life as well as in my counseling practice here in this article...

Follow me closely as I take you back into the story I titled, "The Marriage of The Lovers." I take you back to where we left off in the last article where the Prince kissed sleeping beauty... I will illustrate for you what I mean when I say all we see in our world is an aspect of what we think and feel within about ourselves.

The Prince of Peace was born to re-establish the condition of love.

The kiss that awakens Sleeping Beauty symbolizes, for me, an implosion of light likened to orgasm or effect of male and female coming together in Divine Union - the very change that is about to occur in my mind and reflect into the world I inhabit. The kiss will awaken the love nature or the receptive female principle. The Prince can be seen as the male principle - the one who impregnates her with his love. The union or marriage can be seen as the perfect balance of male and female within man and his world. The Princess or Sleeping Beauty can be seen as the Infinite Field or Mind of God. Who has been awaiting her prince's arrival her whole life until the moment when finally he does arrive and from the union of the two the love child is born.

This story is obviously taken from sacred text which can be found in all of the major religions as the story of Adam and Eve, or the pre-separation state of man, or the Garden of Eden. Recall that the Garden of Eden is where God placed His Son, Adam, and the son's love nature, Eve, to live in love's everlasting Union. In this author's opinion, this story is the basis for everything that one is born to experience in a lifetime but with free will the son is lead astray from His Father’s Will for him. This causes imbalance in the son as he looks outside himself for his answers. And when the answers are not found unbearable pain and suffering become his world. This is where - in The Prodigal Son Parable - the son returns to his father’s home where he is lovingly welcomed.

Wikipedia tells us,

The story of The Prodigal Son in the Gospel of Luke is familiar to all of us. In part, it’s the story of a rebellious son who rejects his father’s upbringing. prideful and headstrong, the son travels away from his home to to a far-away land, leads a wild life of adventure, and squanders everything of value (literally and spiritually). Not until he’s confronted with failure and despair, does he return home, repentant and willing to do anything to win back his father’s favor. To his surprise, and the surprise of others, he’s welcomed, without question, into his father’s loving and forgiving arms. No amount of time, no amount of money, and no amount of rebellion could get in the way of the father’s unconditional love for his returning son.

Except ye become as little children (Matthew 18:3) means that - unless you fully recognize your complete dependence on God - you cannot know the real power as the son and his true relationship with The Father.

Little children create with their minds anything they wish to imagine. They do not become attached to it or cry when their imaginings are over. They merely let them go and move to another set of imaginings. As we awaken the innocence within and allow the Father to grant us that which we require as His child, we relinquish all that has held us prisoner to a world where frightful giants rein. Peace, joy and ultimate fulfillment become our experience and once again we are in Heaven.

It is your Father's good pleasure to give to you the Kingdom [of Heaven].
- Luke 12:32 (AKJV)

As we become conscious, we see that consciousness in itself is the father of everything made manifest in the perceptual world. The Kingdom is the Son/Sun made manifest bearing witness to His Father's Intention. Let us raise our consciousness and watch as our Be-ing-ness becomes known in our world.

Be you therefore perfect,
even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
- Matthew 5:48 (AKJV)

In A Course in Miracles it says,

That Heaven and Earth shall pass away means that they will not continue to exist as separate states.

The Kingdom of God is a world of freedom, a world of True Love. It is our natural state of Be-ing. It is what we are. It is our freedom, unbound and unfettered, to experience anything we can imagine, anytime, and for as long as we like... indeed, likened to little children.

Seek you first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness;
and all these things shall be added to you.
- Matthew 6:33 (AKJV)

Breathe deeply, slowly and steadily - for it is your breath that be the world made manifest. Breath, symbolizing the balance of the polarities. The in-breath - the out-breath sustaining inner balance making a world reflecting the harmony within.

Let us raise our Consciousness and watch as Our God Be-ing-ness is made known in our world.

The New Eden will be born through us it's maker. Will you be one with the ash that is left from time gone by? Or, will you be one with Heaven's Calling, to rise into A New World where Love is all there is?
