Listen with your Heart


  You Have Seen ME Often

I am the mystic and the prophet. I
Dwell in the beggar's clothes and bask in
Abundance in the house of privilege.

You have seen ME in the gentle touch of
The compassionate healer, and the rough
Handed approach of the dealer in human
Suffering.

Hidden, but still there, you have passed ME
By in the alleyways and darkened streets of
Despair.

And in the obvious places have you seen ME,
Yet failed to see there was no difference
From all others.

Each one you see, even to the face in the
Mirror, is held the promise of your
Salvation.

For you have seen ME often and everywhere.
