Are in a prison
Of their own making.

Neither of these
Conditions exists-
One is gone, and
The other has not yet arrived.

Yet here is where
Most people prefer to live,
Without the knowledge
That they have chosen
This road to bondage.

Each moment of NOW living
Is living in reality
And Freedom.

It is a choice
Each of us makes
And must make
To be free.

It is a focus
And a discipline
Worth the choosing.
