Let Miracles Replace all Grievances

For eons
Have I held the shield
Of hate against my savior.

I have cast my false
Guilt upon my world
And my brother has
Carried its cross.

For this I have remained
In darkness,
Unaware my saviors stood
All around me,
Waiting for their release
And mine.

And now with joyful heart,
I tear down the shield
That once hid
The Light that would
Save me from this world,

And open up my vision
To the real world
Promised to me
When time began.
