A Mind at Peace

The eyes and ears deceive
And the mind
That follows this guidance
Is easily deceived.

These guides see and hear
What is not there
And our conditioning
Accepts the lies
They tell us.

These lies
Are like phantoms
Which terrorize or anger us.

We allow these phantoms
To dissolve
Through our disbelief...

With them will go
The upsets
That trouble our mind
Restoring Peace
