One  Goal

I want no other goal
Than the one God
Gave me.

My function,
My purpose for life
In this world,

Will not be shared
With castles of sand...
No matter
How  grand.

I let slip
From my mind
The flimsy idols
And idle dreams,

That have veiled
My only function
As savior of the world.
