My world has been
A house of mirrors,
Reflecting only me
At every turn.

Above all, I want to see.

Beyond the
Fleeting moments of joy and
Sparkling bits of glitter
My world has to offer,

Above all, I want to see.

I have rode the wooden horse
Round endless turns
And found nothing
That stays, nothing that lasts,

Above all, I want to see.

And now my fear
Has passed its point of power
To harm me more,
I let it go into Love’s embrace,

Above all, I want to see.
