Listen with your Heart

God is in Me

Let me join today
With God.

In every moment
God appears to me...
Hidden behind the
Illusions I have made.

He beckons to me
To release the thin veil
That has hidden
His face for so long.

The illusions cling
To the last vestige of life
That I myself
Have given them.

But with a tiny shift
From sight to vision
Their pale shadow dissolves
And God shines through
Embracing my longing heart.
